I got to meet Tom and Sarah who happen to live around the corner as they wanted to look at the Extrawheel Voyager as they are planning to ride to the Canning Stock Route next year. Anyway it turns out they had ridden from the top of Canada to the bottom of South America recently, coming home around May this year. Their blog on the tour is worth a read in my view.

Tom BTW completed the ride on a Surly Dummy which he still riding

I followed their journey from the start, and had hoped to meet up with them in Patagonia, but had to suspend my touring plans due to a job change.
I'm not surprised to hear they will tackle the CSR. After such a long and magnificent adventure, how could you settle down to a regular job?
