Ordered a Giro Ionos helmet from Competitive Cyclists for $77+postage.

Helmet turned up with a small defect which I wasn't happy with. Mostly cosmetic really. Sent pics to CC and was sent a replcement within a week (and get to keep the original!). :D

Great to know that some of the bigger online stores will honour warranty without any hassles. Have had a similar experience with Wiggle.

Ordered from Wiggle on 21 May, one item was out of stock so it didn't ship until 1 June. No worries. Still waiting for the delivery...

Anybody from interstate dealt with Ideal Cycles Fremantle. If so how do you rate them as far as delivery goes?

Over the past month or so, I have purchase stuff from Wigglecycles, Ribblecycles and Merlincycles. All have been excellent to deal with. Prices are generally much better than Oz suppliers - delivery occasionally quicker.

Ordered a seat post and other accessories from Chainreaction 5:25 pm 11/06, goods despatched 12/06, arrived at my home 13/06.

Stunningly good. :)

It's going to be hard to beat - shortest flight time London to Sydney is 21 hours 35 minutes.

Cheers

Just wanted to let you guys know how it's going with Cellbikes:

I ordered many (in-stock, according to the website) items on Thursday 7 June, and as of today (a week later Thursday 14 June), says "Pending Fulfillment". I went to their website and started the online chat thing. Got a reply immediately from Delphine Klein. They said one of the items (Crank Brothers multitool) was out of stock and they'd ordered from their supplier 2 days ago, and should be arriving Friday/Monday. They are holding my other items, and will ship as soon as this item arrives.

So, all in all, I'm pretty happy. There is a delay, but got a fast and definite answer from Cellbikes (I'd read of others not getting emails answered, so was going to try the phone, but saw the chat thing)

this is where I want communication from the reseller. TELL me when you are waiting on something. An email is preferred. Don't make me log in and check.

In other news, I just got my Cycling Express order delivered. Ordered Thursday 7 June 2012 at 1:29PM, got an email saying dispatched next day on Friday 8 June 2012. And now delivered 1:11PM on Thursday 14 June 2012, a week after ordering (including Queens' Birthday holiday on Monday).

Now, just gotta open up the box and make sure everything is fine and accounted for.

No, in fact I scored 2 x Ionos for $77!

Giro Ionos were on special at CC for ages. They were down to Small size only, probably all gone by now.

First purchase from PBK - got 2 x Conti GP4000s on special + 10% off code (AUD $77 all up). Delivery was a bit slow but was disappointed when they arrive as they sent me 23mm but I ordered 25mm version :? . I decided I couldn't be ar5ed sending them back so mounted them up. Seems to be a decent upgrade from the Kenda Kadence tyres that came stock on my bike.

So I shamelessly gave it try (nothing to loose) and they offered me a $10 voucher :)

Dodgy, min $50 that's the postage costs they would incur.

To any of you guys who have international goods from PBK , Wiggle etc sent to your office instead of home..

Have you ever forgotten , or have the shop forgotten to put your business name on the deliver docket?
The reason I ask it because my PBK order is over 1 week late, and I noticed they've posted to me without my business name included, only my actually address, city, post code, phone # etc.
Do you think I'll still receive it, or it it likely to be returned to sender (PBK). ?

OK, can now confirm:

as stated above did 3 orders on the 15 - ribble, pbk and c r c
ribble arrived monday as did c r c (except was marked large parcel and not left at the front door)
pbk order arrived wednesday.

happy with all. worth noting when ordering from ribble that the parts don't come in the original packaging (ordered 2 chains - 1 for me and 1 for a workmate - both turned up in the same plastic bag)
