Preval sprayer

Postby old al » Tue Jun 26, 2012 7:24 pm

Got two nice frames on the way and have been researching spray painting. Came across this.

Anybody used it? Any info. good or bad? looks like a step up from rattle can painting.

Comprehensive information here.

I did a bit of reading on some auto forums a while ago about these. They seem to be used by quite a few people and are perfect for small jobs like bike frames. At least you can use quality 2 pac paints with them.

Just got off the phone to me old man...

I remembered he brought one home with him years back for a small job. According to him, the ability to mix exactly what he wanted (two pack auto) was the selling point. The finish was comparable to a good rattle can job.
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.
