Re: Cycle ChicSo many one liners there... Interesting choice of sponsor and placement.

Re: Cycle Chic
Nothing to add - I was just telling some of the guys that I ride with about this pic, so I figured if I quoted it, it would move to the end of the thread. My bike blog. Long on rumination, rambling and opinion. Why let facts ruin everything?

Re: Cycle ChicAhhhhh le derriere du Francais, c'est magnifique

Re: Cycle ChicNice one............but still a dangerous spot to ride..........on a double line with traffic in both directions
Re: Cycle Chic
Yeah but I bet plenty of drivers notice the rider I was going to buy a fast, stylish bike, but I looked in the mirror & thought "you're not fooling anyone, you know"

Re: Cycle ChicYeah pretty cool........except for the guy riding on the wrong side of the bike path not taking any notice of what’s happening around him while trying to chat up a lass quite obviously out of his league.

Some interpretations here could be classified under bicycle accessories by objectifying women or men.
Re: Cycle ChicBy the correct definition, this beats the above (and is local to Perth circa 2006):

Re: Cycle ChicThis is the thread that makes perfect sense out of cycling, yet I can't help but think that very few of these pics are taken in Australia.
So many practical yet stylish bikes here, ridden by people in regular clothing, doing simple activities like shopping or going for a coffee. So obvious, yet so sad for us. You have officially become your parents.
Re: Cycle Chic
That's on my commute!
Re: Cycle Chic
Now THAT'S chic, that and the pics above makes me think this thread is finally back on track. When man invented the bicycle he reached the peak of his attainments- Elizabeth West.
Re: Cycle ChicIs that near the cnr of Ackland and The Espalnade StKilda?
