Downfall Creek Bikepath Vandalism.

Postby Huggies » Fri Jun 29, 2012 10:20 pm

I'm not sure if anyone else uses the Downfall Creek Bike Path but on the way home tonight I came across several trees that had been removed and dumped on the bike path at 7th Brigade Park at Geebung.

Someone had also removed a sign post and put it across the path.

I thought it might be a good idea to post about it on here to warn anyone who also uses this path.

I saw your Social Media post about it... do you know if there was any sort of response or action arising from it?

I've contacted the council via Twitter and they were going to send a officer out to take care of it. I won't be heading back through that way until Tuesday at this stage.

Which part of the bikepath? The bit of it I ride (the bit near Delaware St) was clear tonight.

It was between the Dog Park and the Newman Road.
