hey matt, I'm heading to Rosebud this morning for a bucks weekend. Hopefully catch you next week. I took your advice and bought a bit of winter gear, looking fwd to trying it out soon.

Another beautiful morning clear with no wind. We had an enjoyable ride to Mordialloc, 44km (AT) 28 kmh. all good fun. Next week we will go somewhere different.

must have missed them by a few minutes! I got to flaky jakes about 4 minutes past 7... oh well, I had a good 34km ride, if not a little brisk!

no worries at all Ron, I'm a maybe for Sun 15th, then away for a few weeks. It was minus 3 for most of my ride this morning, so probably a wise move not to head out!

I went for a ride in the Strathbogies this morning, It was very cold early, so I waited until the temp was reasonable at 11am for a nice ride in the hills.

It makes me realise its been a while since i have been off the flatlands, my climbing was pretty slow.

I will be back on 15-Jul, hope to see you then.

Enjoyed the ride today , perfect weather had us heading down to Tooradin and back ,Eric was powering on ahead and Matt and myself surely felt the time off the bike the last couple of weeks due to the Flu but made it back to the start on time . Had a flat 500m from the start on a brand new Rubino pro , couldn't believe it, learn't a couple of tips on changing tubes . Will miss the next 3 weeks . Good riding guy's

Another good ride this morning, rode to Tooradin and a loop round the back via Dalmore rd & Manks Rd. 52km with a TOTAL vertical climb of 117m, that's flat. Manks rd is amazing, 8km with no bends and only a few tiny rises for the railway line & drain crossing. The distamce is good training, but the hills will not prepare me for the 7 peaks this year.

Weather is looking fantastic! I will be riding tomorrow, but need to end up in Mt Evelyn by 10.30, and want to ride there. Not sure if you guys would be up for a ride into the hills? Let me know what you reckon.
