we had a kellevie build weekend on that weekend , but i have changed it to just the saturday when imogen and chris announced the date of the summer challenge , so maybe, and kellevie will just be a casual ride day on the saturday 23rd.

should be fun

maybe, not sure yet. There was one guy who told me how hopeless my last efforts were so I might try again! I dont have the best mtb or skills..I need a loan of a small mtb so I can go solo again and at least be a little competetive.

thats genuinely dissapointing when people put others down, i remeber when i went riding with some more experienced guys and an experienced member of the ride started going on about "is that as fast as you can go .....blah blah." people like that are just insecure people who need to criticise to feel good about themselves. very rude and not what is wanted for the sport of mountain biking.

who ever told you that needs a boot up the bum !

on the topic of small frame ill ask around if you like, and with technical skills practice on stairs start small and work up.

and ill be doing now ive been conned into the boat as well !

Back on topic

Yep, there I was, 5 minutes after finishing a 5+ hour race for me and I get that..It kinda tarnished the whole thing. Just read about the race in the paper, it says it is aimed at experienced and novice which is nice. Ive been hitting the bike shops drooling over the mtb's...it's deadly stuff for the wallet, I came away with a new Giro Atmos helmet.

yes not cheap, but money is overatEd any way! and remeber you cant ride a giro round the course.

there are some very good options for around 2k that are very versatile. i havent been able to track you down a small bike i have a spare medium and 3 larges. so im no good to you. but once yoiuve got one you wont regret it............................................

but back on topic before mods turn on me (last time they put paint stripper on my car for going off topic) if youve ever seen my cars there is no harm done

the guys who came down and built the berm into the rainforest, IRISH (not english)ross (who came down from launnie for a track building day!) , and every one else who has contributted to the building of the course, now totalling more than 40 people who have given up their time to chip away. and all the people who helped clean up awsome job!

i have been putting on or been involved in events for over 15 years and having these people involved has helped make make this event one of the most rewarding i have ever been involved in. seeing every one still enjoying themselves even when they were totally rooted isnt bad either.
