Thanks for your interest. The hand cranked trike on the right has a three speed / coaster brake on the front wheel, gear change next to seat on right. The stand up red trike has a 250 watt elect. motor running through a six speed cluster. Both these bikes I built for people with special needs. Any more questions just ask. I have more !
PS I hope the photo came through.

I was thinking of getting something for ky folks, mum has dementia and dad loves to cycle. A lung condition knocked that idea on its head though.
There is a study underway about cycling for more mature people, and the health benefits including reduced risks of dementia. Cycling is the new super drug to combat the sedentiary lives people lead these days.
Keep us posted on your builds please!

I see a guy in the 'gong out and about on an upright trike pretty frequently.
Have had a few chats with him over time, and know he was a keen rider on two wheels but motor neuron disease (I think?) wrecked his balance so the trike lets him get around and keep active and independent. Ironically I often see him at the supermarket loading up his trike while I'm in the car. He's got electric power assist now, but still going strong.

I`ll keep an eye open for you next time I'm up there. I'm thinking a trike would be good for our daughter for a number of reasons, and it would be interesting to see some of your machines.
Cheers, Rob.

I am trying to source a trike for my 6 year old son with autism. Do you make and sell them? I have searched a few sites in Australia, but the variety is small and the price is alot more expensive. If you do make to order, how much would you charge for a bike similar to the link I've pasted below.
http://www.bikemania.biz/kids-special-n ... cle-96162/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
OR even something like this...
http://www.bikemania.biz/special-needs/ ... ly-tandem/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If you can help us out with prices or point us in the direction of someone else who might be able to help we would be so forever grateful.
Thanks so much,
Lena.
