Started out with wet roads in the ville, but glorious from then on.

manly side it wasnt too bad this morning, did hills with the manly group and it was fun, than looped back around McCarrs and onto the Parkway, not too windy when climbing so was good.

Checked out the sunrise times for the next few months, on 11 September it's at 6am.
On the 6th of October it's 5.28am but then the clocks change so it'll be an hour later the next day.
By the 10th of December it'll rise at 5.37am but that's the earliest it gets as from then on it rises later until the clocks change again but I haven't checked that yet.

Was a bit of a struggle to get out to SOP this morning. I very nearly did a roll and snooze that was stopped by the realisation I've got 6 weeks to get in form for the Goulburn to Camden ride. That got my finger out and it was worth it. The clear mornings are fantastic for riding (apart from the suffering part)!

Awesome morning! Rode the Three Gorges.
Windy going up the Pacific Highway, chilly in Galston Gorge, misty down the Berowra Waters ferry and lovely at Bobbin Head.

Lovely weather for a ride this morning, was all set for a relaxed coffee run to woolloomooloo until a lady in our group got a puncture and her spare also had a hole (I think from abrasion from being in her bag un-used for over a year). No problems I replace it with my spare and we ride on, then I hit half a smashed beer bottle hidden in a shadow in Redfern behind Sydney uni... Slashed my tyre up so much it has to go into the bin now, attempts to patch the tube and use a $5 note to boot the gash didn't work, nobody else had a suitable tube for me to use and the trains to my station or any near it are not running today...

At least my phone worked, had to call for backup and a ride home. Such a shame because it was such a nice warm morning.

Way too windy here with winds gusting to 70km/h and apparent temps of -5 (AT) 6am. After spending a beautiful day in the city yesterday it's a bit depressing to come home to this.

Ok ride into work -the reason that it was only OK was because I did have to go to work and couldn't keep on riding like I wanted (there are bills to pay)
Still I won't be away late tonight as I am itching to get out there on my bike.

It was a chilly one this morning! I went for layers on my layers. Shucked a layer on the way into work which wasn't so much fun to start off with!

Apparently, it's going to get colder over the next couple of days! It's going to be tricky dressing right for SOP tomorrow morning!

50 km/h southwesterly winds - sounds like fun - ok as long as you are heading northeast.
