Just picked up a frame on the weekend and looking to get rid of the old paint as it's not in the best shape.
Can anyone recommend a quality/cheap sandblast and powder coater in Brisbane?

Re: [Brisbane] Sandblast/PowdercoaterYes, Lewis and Sons at Morningside. They know their stuff re: bikes.

+1. I got a bike done there and they were very good. Fausto Coppi Reparto Corse | Giant Farrago Cross
Re: [Brisbane] Sandblast/PowdercoaterAgain I can vouch for Lewis and Son, specifically Roberto who has his own side business run in the same premises.
Just had my Rapallo frame completely powdercoated and is a beautiful job...really loves his work and takes his time...around 2 weeks for complete sandblast and powdercoat of road bike frame and fork. http://www.robertoscustompowder.com.au/ ... aspx?ID=18 Cheers Michael
Re: [Brisbane] Sandblast/PowdercoaterIf Northside you could try Yeates Powdercoating in Nudgee. They did an ok job for me but Lewis & Sons have a better reputation.
It would not be at all strange if history came to the conclusion that the perfection of the bicycle was the greatest achievement of the nineteenth century.
Re: [Brisbane] Sandblast/Powdercoaterwow, i assumed your rapallo was painted. top notch work!

Thanks Munga, very happy with the job. I reckon it's money well spent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
