Members of the British Olympic cycling team will wear the ADIPOWER warming pants before the track bike events on Thursday of this week, including the men's and women's Team Sprint and Team Pursuit races. Great Britain track cyclists including Sir Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton and Laura Trott were each specially fitted for a pair, which they quickly nicknamed "hot pants."

Maybe the road team should have used them :)

Actually quite a brilliant idea that I can see taking off amongst athletes.

To be able to maintain the ideal muscle temperature after a warmup while waiting for your comp to start is going to be extremely advantages. It will also allow you to recover your breath and even rest a little if you do your warmup a little earlier without loosing the beneficial effects of the warmup.

Formula 1 technology, and in Moto GP.

Make me think whether they will also turn to pre-warming the tyres as well.

I have something similar for the moto as a vest. means instead of wearing about 6 layers of clothing and still being cold, I wear just 2.
Life is not about waiting for the rain to pass.....it's about learning to dance (or ride) in the rain.
