Hi all,
I had a business meeting Saturday morning on Burke Rd (booo, I know)... So to make the boring meeting interesting, I'm planning a ride from Ringwood via Eastlink Trail. Will have to ride along Canterbury Rd, but being a n00b, I am always worry about riding on road. I wonder if it is safe to ride along Canterbury Rd on Saturday morning (before 9.00am)? Anyone has experience riding along Canterbury Rd?
How about hills? Are there many of them?
If anyone has a better idea/route... Please advise.
Thanks all
Ben

Canterbury road is fine and I may see you out there as Heatherdale road to Blackburn road is part of my saturday ride.
There are a couple of good hills, from heatherdale road to boronia road and then as you cross middlebourough road up to elgar road. Once you cross elgar its a mix of flat and downhill to burke road.
I would say just do it and think of the rush going down the hill towards the manhatten on the way back

Howdy.. I ended up not riding because it was raining quite hard yesterday morning at 8.00ish when I took my bike out.. Would have missed you anyway, I guess. It turned out to be a beautiful day later in the afternoon so I hope you had a pleasant ride.yarravalleyplodder wrote:How did you go Kimmie?
