Bryton rider 50 map DVDI just for a rider 50 from the UK and it only came with UK maps (D'oh).
I assumed the unit came with all the regions. Anyone know how I can get hold of the DVD, or even upload free maps to the unit? Thanks

Re: Bryton rider 50 map DVDLove this GPS, you can still navigate without the maps, but would be handy to find someone with the map DVD.

Re: Bryton rider 50 map DVDGoogle bryton rider 50 and open street map.
Seems this is free and available from the little reading I did. John
Re: Bryton rider 50 map DVD
Bryton used OSM in the early versions, but the latest firmware locks you to using the Navteq maps which you need to get on DVD from Bryton. The format seems to be different to other Navteq maps that are around too
Bryton rider 50 map DVDI read about the osm maps
You can buy the DVD for $100 which seems a bit steep.
Re: Bryton rider 50 map DVDPity on OSM.
I just read a forum post by Bryton that they would make this facility available second quarter 2012 but can't see any sign of it yet John

Re: Bryton rider 50 map DVDCompared to $180 from Garmin its not to bad.
Whats worse the Garmin ones are terrible. Tried to tell us a road in Adelaide which has existed for at least 15 years did not exist. Go with the OSM as they are far more accurate. Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201 using Tapatalk 2 James

Re: Bryton rider 50 map DVDI too fell for the overseas model. I had assumed that I could register the Australian maps however, I have a brand new HD EU version that remains unregistered. I would greatly appreciate an AU copy so I can register it. Apart from the map saga its a great little unit.
Re: Bryton rider 50 map DVDJust email bryton support And get the link.
I sold my rider 50 because it kept falling off, the mount is not as good as garmins.
Re: Bryton rider 50 map DVDBryton service is good but would not supply. Oh well. Lets hope OSM support soon.
