Re: BMC Gallery - lets see yours! How are the framesets holding up too please people? They're the only branded frames I'm interested in, so how have the owners found them?

Yummy! Not even the lack of a blue laundry basket can spoil that. ...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Re: BMC Gallery - lets see yours!
I bought a 2011 RM01 frameset from Elite Racing Cycles in Perth and built it with DA (as I preferred that to SRAM). Holding up pretty darn good. It's my "good" bike not my commuter so have only done a couple of 1000km on it. Fantastic handling and responsiveness, you never hear a bad word about the RM01 or SLR01 geometry (which are the same). The RM01 is a little bit too stiff for my liking as a sub 70kg rider but it's fine up to four hours which is the most I usually do. The proprietary seatpost on the 2011's is a pain as it didn't have enough setback for me, but in the 2012 range they have a choice of setback options. I retro-fitted a 2012 seatpost with the 15mm setback.
Re: BMC Gallery - lets see yours!I would have been able to buy a BMC to post here but apparently it was 'spam'

Re: BMC Gallery - lets see yours!gorgeous fresh
i always wondered why the 2011+ top end frames dont have internal routing, is it a weight thing or more of an efficiency thing? ie less cable drag etc. in my eyes internal routing would complete the look of the higher end BMCs. Re: BMC Gallery - lets see yours!did you get that locally iKM ?
Re: BMC Gallery - lets see yours!Certainly did. 2012 RM01 with SRAM Red at ~7kg. Picked it up From Elite Racing Cycles and couldn't be happier with it.
I think Woodvale BF can do them (would have been less travel for me) but didn't have any in stock and I wanted to ride it before spending the $ and this was right there ready and waiting for me. Are you getting yourself another?
