I've been using it more often as a commuter and was thinking it'll be hard to change the tube or repair the tube in case of a puncture.. Just trying to avoid in bringing a wrench

Re: Single Speed Wheelset Question - Quick release option?New axles with skewers. Jusr carry a 15mm spanner like everyone else.
Re: Single Speed Wheelset Question - Quick release option?
agreed. Not all axles are the same (pitch and thread etc) so that affects the cones, locking washers etc, and QR means your wheels are easier/quicker to steal. Dave is right, carry a 15mm spanner with your spare tube etc
Re: Single Speed Wheelset Question - Quick release option?Doesn't need to be big, just get quality . I ebayed 15mm sidchrome open end/ring end spanner, cut it I half and rounded the cut. Ringone fits in my undersaddle bag with c02 and tube.
Re: Single Speed Wheelset Question - Quick release option?I'm a ponce lol
ebayed a genuineeey Sugino track spanner.

Ray deserves the best. I'm just a lover of the ghetto style.
Re: Single Speed Wheelset Question - Quick release option?Sweet.. Spanner it is..
Clever Thanks fellas!!
Re: Single Speed Wheelset Question - Quick release option?Certainly carrying a spanner is an option. However a set of these is, in my opinion a far better option and looks far more cool.
