thoughts on campagnolo mirage?hey all, what do you think of the campy mirage 10 speed? cant find too much info on it online as it seems to be an older model thats discontinued? looks to be either the lowest or 2nd to the lowest model of campy yes?

Re: thoughts on campagnolo mirage?Seems to be a very old groupset, I would go for campagnolo veloce if you wanted a cheap campagnolo groupset.
Re: thoughts on campagnolo mirage?I was able to buy one thats in good nick for 10$ minus the chain and cassette. but comes with the ergo levers... 10 speed too

There is nothing wrong with Mirage. In good condition for $10 it's a bargain. Cycle touring blog and tour journals: whispering wheels...
Re: thoughts on campagnolo mirage? If you don't end up buying it, please tell me where it is so I can nab it
Re: thoughts on campagnolo mirage? For $10, hard to pass up. Mirage was the base model for yonks, but reasonable stuff. Are they the poly (plastic) levers?
Remember, Campagnolo (of comparative speed groups) is all interchangeable. So 10-speed Mirage will control 10-speed Chorus parts should you feel the need to upgrade certain components Jim MY RIDES: My Velospace Profile
Re: thoughts on campagnolo mirage?indeed. didnt come with a chain or cassette but then I can just upgrade to a better one for now then cranks in time.
![]() seems to be in good nick though. ergo power levers too ![]()
Re: thoughts on campagnolo mirage?
Hard to tell from your pic - is that an Ultra Torque crankset? It can't be too old if it is...excellent buying. Cycle touring blog and tour journals: whispering wheels...
Re: thoughts on campagnolo mirage?yes, forgot to mention its an ultra torque crankset as well.
