Just quickly... did this http://connect.garmin.com/activity/217267358 and this http://connect.garmin.com/activity/217700147 on the weekend with the Merida and loved every minute of it. The speed, acceleration and ability to climb hills was just leaps and bounds above my previous bike, a 2009 Scott CR1 Pro. I'm happy!

It's been a long while since I posted a pic of my girl. Originally bought her from balarah August 10, two years later she's still going strong albeit a nasty crash and a few cosmetic changes.

Here's my current daily in full gear. Previously had a rear cage cable tied to the saddle but recent purchase of a setback post meant I had no room on the rails. I actually think I should've went with zero setback.

Ps getting a smaller one tomorrow as I still have a lot of room in this large one.

Yay. If possible, I'd mount in closer/lower to stem seat stay area to block some of the wet fling off the rear tyre..........

Well, this is my only bike, so I wanted one set of wheels for commuting with commuting tyres, and one for fun with fun tyres (and silly latex tubes)
Also wanted a cassette with a 28... we have some steep hills in Canberra.

I actually really liked the Reynolds... great roll for the money - would recommend to anyone. The C35s though... are amazing. Incredible aero - I think it really kicks in in the low 30s. Even lower rolling resistance than the Reynolds (which really are good for the money). My riding buddies simply cannot keep up down hills now.

Drawback of new wheels: ...waiting for people

edit: FYI I got the C35s for $1,070 incl. postage from Ribble.

You mean the drink cage holder?

That's just the stock Giant one that come with the Trinity - Giant TT bikes don't have bottle cage bosses for the drink cages on the down tube / seat tube so you either run those queer as
triathlon drink bottles on the front (between the extensions) or off the back.

Truth be told, I don't drink on a 20k TT so it stays empty most the time.
I've got another custom mount (similair to Rabobank) for front mounted bottle, for drinking in the 40k events..

I meant the tool bottle

The bike itself is fine though you'd notice that I run a shorter stem (100mm) and post than what you originally had when I bought it from you. I think my flexibility isn't as great + I have lower back issues.

When I purchase a new bike, I'd probably hop on a medium to see how it fits.

I've ridden one of those - really enjoyed riding it. the standard wheels were very responsive
