Get involved in NSW Bike Week

Postby JV911 » Tue Sep 04, 2012 8:42 am

I saw this advertised on the buc this morning...

This year's NSW Bike Week will run from 15th - 23rd September to promote cycling as a healthy, easy, low cost and environmentally friendly way of getting around.

There will be almost 60 events across the state from trail rides in Albury up to a breakfast for champions in Grafton out to Bling, Bikes and Bitumen events in Balranald Shire. These NSW Bike Week events provide a great opportunity for people of all levels of fitness to experience the benefits of cycling as a fun and a healthy transport choice. Last year's NSW Bike Week was the most successful since its launch in 1995 with over 10,000 participants taking part in local events.

This year, NSW Bike Week is shaping up to be even bigger! Everyone can participate in NSW Bike Week events, even new and less confident cyclists, who can learn helpful tips on safety and bike maintenance.

Visit the events page for a full listing of all NSW Bike Week events and see what's happening in your area!
