No!!! It's nice to see Trek for once - I see so few of them. The Bontrager tyres on my new wheels probably won't stay - I'll change them to GP4000s when their time is up.

Yeah I hardly ever see them, A guy at the bike shop used to have them but his not allowed to ride it anymore because they no longer sell trek.

Put new Pro 3 tyres on today, When there times up I might look into some GP4000S, Do you know what they are like compared to Pro 3's?

I don't know about the Michelin Pro 3s, but the GP4000s which I have on my other wheels are excellent - they seem quite puncture resistant too which is a good thing given all the garbage people leave about the place.

I was in the Clarence Street toy-store yesterday and I tell you what, those new 2013 Madones are very damn nice. Green with envy indeed. I don't know why there seem to be so few Treks about, I can't fault mine.

Yep mine has already been through 2 people and now me.

My dad bought it for $1500 like 6 years ago, His friend bought it for $1000, Then I bought it for $500.

My favourite thing about this bike is the suspension setup. No remote lockout, nothing fancy at all, just shreds hard on the downs and motors on the ups, sits right in corners, absorbs braking bumps etc and tracks the ground like a champ; shock and fork tunes are spot on like no other out-of-the box bike I've ridden.

Removed the White Bros carbon fork and fitted a Manitou Minute to the NinerMCR - it's now my wife's bike...

That's a very nicely turned out Avanti that is floody, but what's that lump on the seatpost just under the rocker pivot?

2013 Specialized Explorer Low Entry + Yepp Mini child seat. Has a big basket from Velogear on the back now as well. Awesome kiddy transport which does not force you to adopt a ride like a clown posture. Can literally climb up walls with the 22/34 low gear.

1x10 with X0-DH 4x104 spider, 36t Renthal chainring and E13 LG1+,
ABD sniper stem and Renthal 780x19mm Fatbar handlebars, Troy Lee Design x ODI grips
2.50 folding Nevegal front tyre
ABD Sniper pedals
KS i950 dropper seatpost, Zero zealth sport saddle, using old front derailleur cable route for post remote.
Just got Shimano Zee 180/160 brake set.

Lump below the rocker pivot is the direct front derailleur mount made redundant by 1X setup, thinking about using it for direct mount E13 XCX guide now the clutched SRAM deraileurs are available.

Courtesy of an early birthday present from my hubby, my bike is now rocking a new wheelset. It's now decked out with Campagnolo Shamal Ultra Mega G3's - phew what a mouthful! They are very light and should serve me well climbing here in the high country!



I think they also compliment the Wilier GT nicely

Agree - frame, wheels the whole package looks exquisite. Full points to Wilier with those beautiful (standard fitment) FSA seatpost, stem and cranks.

It's kitted out with a mix of campy chorus and athena. I absolutely love running campy gear - and now I have the campy wheels to match
