My avatar is my beloved Europa ... in her new fixie guise too
However, thanks to the massive resizing, it's a horrible picture. Does anyone here have the skills to take a large picture and resize it to the 80x80 needed for an avatar and have it look nice and clean? If so, you would mind doing one for me? Please? Pretty please?

Photoshop / GIMP
Image > Size > 80px x 80px (NOTE: its when you alter the dimensions that the image is disturbed. i.e. turning a 1x3cm pic into a 2x2cm pic.
Try to crop to a size with equal dimensions then resize.
Also some formats resize better than others.

Now all you need to do is submit some pictures to the fixed gear gallery! It could do with some more Aussie contributions.europa wrote:Thank you Tuco, you're a gentleman and a scholar.

I haven't finished the conversion yet - need to lose the unused chain ring, still tossing up about a proper hub though the suicide hub seems to be doing the job well. I'd like to put some brakes on her as opposed to the old diacompes that currently grip the rims whenever I try to express my terror at the approaching intersection Some aero brake levers would be good too, to get those cables out of the way.
The problem with bike parts is that the shops all expect you to pay for them
