I assume your insinuating the condition? If so I keep everything clean and shiny after each ride

You should ride all your bikes in any conditions. No such thing as a wet weather bike, only a fair weather cyclist!

Since most of us can only ride one bike at a time, and riding in wet weather wears your gear out, it makes sense to have a wet weather bike of lower quality than your primary bike.

Similarly having a race bike & training bike has it's merits. Not all can afford such a luxury, but for those fortunate enough it makes sense. Training bike can sit there all cruddy & abused while on race day out comes the "fresh" bike which just feels faster cause it's all clean & shinny. I've been trying to persuade my Wife to splurge on a race bike, but she just takes her trusty old training bike to races & usually wins or places anyway. Meanwhile I'm flaunting it on my spiffing carbon wonder bike finishing mid-field
Gas propulsion.......it's natural don't fight it.

LOL yeah OK bud. If you do maintainence there's no dramas at all with wear. I've riddern my roadie and tt in the wet and rain a lot. Clean, degeese and lubrication. Take the chain off and cassette off every now and then and soak in decreased. Hardly a task at all..

Apart from making no sense, wet weather bike implies he rides in the rain so your fair weather cyclist jibe is off the mark. I can't work out why you would care if someone rides one bike in the rain and other on dry days? Awesome toys Rabo I'm telling Gina, you are obviously on more than 2 bucks a day

Yep... But it's a few years old now and the plastic is degrading... It's not so supple anymore.

thanks. bought the Carraro of a guy that started bringing them into Oz about a year and a half ago but now has ventured into something else. I wanted one of their new bikes direct from Carraro in Italy but were too expensive to get here. I just bought the Argon 2 weeks ago and the plan was to sell the Carraro as I only need 1 carbon bike but havent crossed that line yet... I will just as soon as the mrs says its time to go .. LOL
