That looks so sick. I'm in the process of building up an early Apollo aluminium MTB with a roughly similar frame but your beasty is many levels up. What brand is it, i can't quite make it out?

It's a 1994 DBS Kilimanjaro.
DBS (Den Beste Sykkel) is the Norwegian Malvern Star, there are some seriously weird old dbs bikes on the web if you dig for them. My frame is just an ok steel estay, nothing amazing but I love it all the same.
They still make bikes... are you ready for the greatest cycling related website in existence?

Pretty generic from the looks. Good bang for buck at about $540 delivered though http://www.cyclingexpress.com/cycle/cle ... pista.aspx

For the price I can't complain but I really won't know till I put her through the paces. But comparing it to the CELL fixie (piece of !! BAN ME NOW FOR SWEARING !!) I bought for $250 the Azzurri shits on it

I looked at the size chart on Azzurris' site and the seat tube C-T measures 48cm (med). The frame had 'M' stickers on it too. It's that top tube that has me stumped

Anyway I'll try her out on the track and if she don't work out I'll sell to a kid

Not quite as scary as they look! they're caked in dry mud in the photo and admittedly look like they're about to blow apart

Two rides so far today, a good hour in the bush on a ss and a pootle about the streets on the speedwell with the better half. In both cases can feel the benefit of this one ring business, far less time worrying about which gear you should be in and far more opportunities as a result to look up and enjoy the world around you.
Preaching to the choir I guess.
