So on Saturday Phil and myself had to wangle to get ourselves to Toodyay with both of our trikes. Well mine is simple bang it folds and goes in car. Phils vortex+ tho doesn't fold hmm
That is the solution we picked on
Phils vortex we removed the seat and strapped it to the roof using inner tubes and the existing bike rack rear strap on the front wheel. You can see mine folded up in the boot with the rear rack, fairing points and our 2 seats in there. Out of view is my fairing rolled up underneath phils seat.

You got to love a folding trike !
Th Vortex fits nicely on the roof, I was thinking the same might possible with a Mango on the roof of a Mondeo wagon -next lease car......

A folding VeloMobile would be nice.
I wonder if some sort of frame clamp from a Thule rack would work on the main toobe of the trike so wheels are sitting on the paint work of the Golf?

Yep wheels are sitting on the paint work. Phil placed an old glove under each tyre contacting and they were lashed down with bike tubes. On the return leg there was no movement in the trike it was quite firmly locked down.Poiter wrote:A folding VeloMobile would be nice.

If this is going to be a regular thing I may end up using some PVC piping attached to my rola roof rack.
