I purchased a second hand frame for a good price and have had my bike built up with my other existing gear.
I ended up purchasing a black KHS Flite 700 frame (aluminium with carbon seat stays) and carbon forks and added a sealed bearing headset. This was all bolted up to my existing Shimano 105 groupset. The new frame is slightly larger and a more aggressive geometry than my old Avanti. The KHS seems to suit me better and I'm very happy with it thus far. It's a little lighter than my old combo too
