The place for fixies and other rides without gears
Thanks for the comments folks, I was almost not going to show it because I thought it might be too scruffy.
Not quite as scary as they look! they're caked in dry mud in the photo and admittedly look like they're about to blow apart ....tyres (although vintage) are sound.
Two rides so far today, a good hour in the bush on a ss and a pootle about the streets on the speedwell with the better half. In both cases can feel the benefit of this one ring business, far less time worrying about which gear you should be in and far more opportunities as a result to look up and enjoy the world around you.
Preaching to the choir I guess.
tell me more about the spring on the seatpost. i'd love one of those on my mtb (without paying through the nose for some modern swanky version).

They come up on fleebay US pretty regularly.. I have a black spring race version (shorter travel) sitting in a drawer somewhere.
