Signs went up on Monday indicating Market St, Perth is closed Sunday 23 Sep 2012 for road works.
It is unclear if we can still cross the PSP at Market St, as the signs were located on the freeway and road.
Couldn't locate any information relating to it, but will guess it is the installation of the additional lane near the Perth Arena, to allow for more motorised traffic into the new entrance off Market St into Perth Arena.
Shame, as this will make east-west PSP journey more difficult as we will have to navigate this entrance, as well as additional traffic off Milligan St.
One for cars, zero for active transport. And for the cost of an extra $54M for that underground carpark. Given that there are 680 car bays, that works at around $80,000 per car bay. Wonder how many bike racks will be installed?

Heard from City of Perth today and the shared path will be open on 23 Sep and we will be able to still cross over Market St. Thanks to City of Perth to provide this information so quickly.
