I'll be riding, I don't care what the weather does.

BTW, I'm buying a Campy groupo from someone & I can't even remember how much? When/if you PM me back, it might be a good idea to remind me how much I owe you. Yeah Say What, I just buy the stuff, I never think about how much it's costing me, I guess that's the joys of owning 13 (or is it 14?????) bikes, you forget little things like what you're buying & for what.

On the same topic, I'm currently negotiating with a party in Hungary to secure a Benotto, it'll end up with Campy groupset & thinking that it may end up with a similar colour scheme to the old Sanson Gelati Pro team. Just working out freight & when I can afford to pay & how, stay tuned.

I'm finally going to be able to make a raturday, in about a month. Question is, what bike (and accompanying outfit naturally) to take?

It's more about the spirit than the rules, lachy.
Bring whatever you want, but if it's carbon, you better have thick skin ;)

I've got plenty of carbon but we've been through that, now have a little titanium on the bike as well, sheesh it's damn near like one of them modern thingies.

Oh this isn't about 'rules' it's just which would be the most fun. To narrow it down a little, retro is my mercier (complete with Mercier jersey and cap, thanks again for that fleabay link :) ), really retro is my Healing with the outfit i was wearing at the l'eroica show (and i would dearly love an excuse to wear that again) and the unique one just has to stay a secret til it's done :) . I just can't decide!

So, 6:30 start? Or 6:00?

I'm in plus one at this stage.

I now own a Benotto, no stickers on the frame, the seller assures me that the maroon paint is in terrific condition, I'll be striping all the paint off, the frame will be silver & the fork chrome ala` Sanson Gelati Team bikes of the 70's.

Now just have to try to find someone to reproduce the old frame decals to complete the bike. Haven't heard whether the seller has packed the bike up yet, should see it within the next 3 or 4 weeks (providing I haven't been taken for a ride).

Much excitement for moi, will now fit Suntour groupo to Munga's old Superlite, probably end up with 6 speed indexed (I've still got those immaculate condition Superbe shifters here), back to building 3 bikes (again once the Benni arrives).

6.30AM Dan, that's the set time until it gets a bit warmer (which should be in the next few weeks).

And btw i've bought mercier and peugeot jerseys from prendas, both absolutely exceptional quality.
