Cycle computer recommendations

Postby justo316 » Thu May 22, 2008 1:27 am

Hi,
I am not a cyclist, but I need a recommendation for a cycle computer (to install onto my scooter).

I used to use a basic cateye unit which worked quite well, but since it got stolen I'm looking to upgrade.

All I want is something that will
- tell me my speed
- provide an atmospheric temperature readout (at the same time)
- Uses a wired sensor

Anything else (like backlighting) is a bonus but not essential.

At the moment, I've found the VDO MC1.0 but am having trouble finding somewhere to buy it from (preferably in Aus). Just wondering if there are other options I've missed?

Cheers

Check out Aldi supermarkets in your area, they might have a few left from their last bike bits sale. They work well on my kids bikes.
