Bearing in mind that our new kit only went on sale 3 weeks ago and isn't fully established on Scody's website as yet, we have just received an incredible update from my rep Aggie today:
" The Directors felt that they would like to increase the safety aspect of the jerseys and knicks, so we have added a reflective strip to the back above the pocket and reflective piping around the leg cuff seams on the knicks, at no charge.
Also, the Safe Cycling jerseys and knicks will be photographed today, so we will be able to get them into the retail side of the Scody store within the next week or two. The orders have been coming in nicely and once they get into the retail store, we anticipate orders to increase."
We sent Scody 25 BikePure wristbands to go out with the jerseys prior to production kicking off 3 weeks ago and now they need more. Already!

Scody has plans for export of 3ft jerseys to the US as well depending on distribution channels. That will also then open up the UK to a similar opportunity. The jersey will probably see Safe Cycling International/Galactic/Universal or something for overseas sale if they go ahead.
For those that are wondering about the blatant plug:
1)we are making just enough from these to cover costs atm. The aim is to get the message out on the road where it belongs first and foremost, and
2)Christopher Jones came up with the original designs from which this evolved together with the help of many of you, so I figured many would be interested in how its all going.

The first jerseys were delivered this week, so that was approximately 14-16 days. The first jersey made it to the US before the locals got theirs, but he ordered before production had even begun. We've already had the first pics sent in of the new owners showing them off
I think you'll agree that 2 weeks beats the hell out of 12 weeks, which is the reason why we switched suppliers so quickly to begin with. We're very happy they're made in Australia now as well. It just makes sense.

By the way people, we're trying to get into the DeFeet for a Cause program with a yellow sock. If you're on FB this weekend head over to their page and like Safe Cycling Australia's post to help get their attention. At last check there were 12 likes already, and we've also flicked them a couple of emails this afternoon.
All process will go back into educating kids to ride safe and be more predictable on our roads.
