Orbea MTB

Postby black4tress » Fri May 23, 2008 11:33 am

Hi All,

I have accidently ventured into mountain bike (I mean the real thing, with big rocks and dangerous trails etc) and although the Mrs is not too happy  , I am beginning to enjoy it.

Does anyone know much about Orbea mountain bikes. Theres one on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... :IT&ih=018

but for the life of me cannot seem to find any information online about this.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

That's a great bike and the buy it now price is good. It's a small frame though, so you'd better go and see/ride it before placing a bid.

I think he's mad for selling it - he should just buy a bigger frame and swap all the stuff across.

Cheers,
Graeme

Like you, I couldn't find anything about an Orbea Zenit, but there's plenty about Orbea's mtb range at www.orbea.com.au.
They're damn fine bikes - Julian Absalom rides one after all.
Litespeed Classic - 3Al/2.5V titanium tube set, Record 9-speed groupset, Open Corsa Evo CX
Alchemy Diablo - Columbus Zonal tubing, Ultegra 9-speed groupset, UltraGatorskins
Gitane Rocks T1 - U6 tubing, Deore/XT groupset, CrossMarks

Thanks guys. I have asked him for his location so I can see it but I might not get to it cause there is only 2 days left. Its a small and he is 175cm and the reason he is selling is its just too small. Well, I'm 174 so will have a similar problem. Thats why I need to see it first.

Thanks again.

It's going to be too small for you. Put a bid of $1000 on it and get a good frame from somewhere - you'll be in front and have well kitted out bike.

Cheers,
Graeme
