Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy a new road bike in the range $2500-3000 and was hoping for some ideas. I actually purchased an Azzurri Forza from cyclingexpress however, I'm having 2nd thoughts and wondering whether it is better to save the money on the Di2 and go for a better frame. I ride about 300km on average and I'm thinking about doing a few races in MWM2 category (c or d grade)
At present there are a couple of "run out" deals on bikeexchange that have caught my eye which include an Orca SLT 2011 at $2999 and a Kuota Awesome Kolt also at $2999.
There are lots of positive reviews floating around re the Azzurri which is certainly a steal at $2450. I like the idea of electronic shifting but that isn't really going to make me faster or a better cyclist, whereas maybe a lighter better frame possibly could help me shave a few more seconds off my best Bobbin Head ascent.
Any other nice deals spotted recently or any advice or recommendations welcome

If you Google it some places are doing the Giant 2012 TCR 0 with Ultegra DI2 for $2,999.00 which I think is extremely good value.

Giant Defy/TCR Advanced. Trek 5-series Madone. Focus Izalco Pro. These would be a good place to start IMO.

I like mine. Would definitely be worth keeping it on your shopping list, especially if you can get one on clearance!__PG__ wrote:Trek 5-series Madone.
