Is there a cycling article link/video on the interwebs that this man hasn't posted to this forum?

The phrase "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" comes to mind, but that's not really what it was about, just showcasing the technology, and the technology is very very cool.

Well it's ugly as sin, and wobbles like a grandmother after a few too many glasses of sherry, so I'm gonna agree, it's not a better bicycle.
What is it with cycling? 30+ kmh and lycra???!!!

The technology is cool which is why I posted it in the first place and the idea of using it to create something like a bicycle is pretty amazing to me.

Buying shares related to this industry will be a ticket to a printing press of money in your future.

I hope

I think you're right.

The Americans are already calling it a "disruptive technology" and the next "piracy enabler":

CAD files could become tomorrow's mp3.

Interesting times! 8)

Well not really bicycle related, but here is a 3D printer I made earlier this year. I did consider if a bicycle could be printed but could see all sorts of issues using the type of printer I had. There are other 3D printer types that might be better suited to printing bicycles though.

Here is my home made printer printing a small statuette...this print was at .2mm per layer

A more advanced professional printer printing a roller bearing...
