Punctured today on Schwalbe Marathon Tryker tyres. Right front wheel went flat on me 6km from home.
Culprit hard bit of white plastic that was in the form of a spike
Wish I had pliers on me as I spent about 2 mins trying to get it out of the tyre, plastic = slippery. Did think about walking to the bike shop 200m away for help but I sorted myself out.
So 1 puncture over 2475km

+2 today. Double puncture on the way to work.
Heard a click, then "thwump, thwump, thwump". Stopped and extracted a large nail from the rear. One and only spare tube installed (long story, so don't ask why I had only one), hopped on and found that the front was also flat, with a pin-hole in the tube.
Called the cavalry to come help, as I was at least 20 minutes from the nearest station.
Not happy Jan.
New total = 14

With the amount of glass I ran over this week, I think my lead is safeKev365428 wrote:Watch out Mike, I'm bridging the gap

Monday. Rear. Might have been a valve failure as I pulled the valve out of the tube by accident when removing the tyre. Couldn't pump it up to check for a hole then . Replaced tube.

Chunk of glass, right through the middle of the tread, where the heck is the "silkworm" puncture protection layer in these things? I don't think I've had a tyre puncture this easily since I used my Pro3's for a commute one day.
Damn you Panasonic, I want my Panaracer Extreme Duro's, how dare you discontinue them!

But I do know the GP4s are absolute shockers when it comes to sidewall protection. Got home and replaced them with Durano Plus which were a PITA to put on I might add. Thumbs are still sore!
Hopefully these puppies will serve me well.

Not sure how many Ks I have done to this point, but would be somewhere around 600 or so...I guess the Specialized Double Black Belt finally met its match. Put a real damper on the day, had been looking forward to that ride all week

Walked into the shed on Monday morning, rear was flat, so pulled the race wheel out of the bag. Finally pulled it apart last night, I could find a cut in the surface of the tyre (Conti 4Seasons) and a cut in the tube... but I couldn't find where the tyre had actually been penetrated. What the???! Ripped the tyre off, replaced it with a Panaracer Evo and a new tube, all good again.
I cleaned out the glass from the Evo on the race wheel before putting it back in the bag - only four small pieces of glass in the rubber, and no cuts apart from where the glass had embedded. Very impressive considering these have had a total of a week of commuting (~300km) and ~170km of racing.

Something went through the rear... I had ridden through a pile of crap about .5km up the road, looked like something plastic had come off a vehicle and exploded. There was a hole in the tyre and the tube, chucked an instant repair patch on the tyre and stuck yet another tube in.
Obviously, I have pissed off the fairy. Or maybe it's because I ran out of the Panaracer Extreme Duro's. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick up the new version, the "Race Type D", at some point... when they are cheaper, anyway.

This time it's a double puncture both front and rear. Found both flat when I was getting the bike ready to ride to work.

Single ride I picked up 2 punctures, my front right tyre, and my rear tyre. Both were found in a similar location to the valve so suss. Didn't find the culprit. Suspect sharp stones tho from where I was riding, in pea gravel tho so go figure
Seems the puncture fairy is out to get me now after I had the thoughts of putting the Schwalbe Marathon Plus back onto my roadie since I'm well enough to ride it again

Bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch!!
+1, 18, glass through the Michelin Krylion on the front.
The second the weather warms up, glass everywhere. Bogans should be forced to roll through it naked.
