BRING, BUY, SWAP, SELL
precious bicycle stuff, classic, vintage
9 am - 1pm
rear of Abbotsford Cycles
27 Swan St, Richmond (under the station)
presented by the Vintage Cycle Club of Vic.

SELLERS SET UP 8 - 9 am $10 fee
BROWSERS & BUYERS 9 - 1 pm $ gold coin donation
Sellers can register at the shop.
There is NO room in the shed for the next bike! New shed rqd.

Is the swap meet mainly made up of people selling vintage/classic gear or do people sell more modern items? The reason I ask is because I have a bit of modern road and mountain bike parts I would like to find new homes for and this could be a good opportunity to do so.

Mostly vintage & classic, you do get a lot of buyers looking for bargains! worth the trip i reckon. :)

you beauty - Last one was fantastic. Piles of useful stuff for nice builds and beater bikes alike. I'll be writing myself a list this time, my mind always seems to go totally blank when I walked through the door. 'Hmmmmmm was it 27.0mm or 27.2?.. :roll:
I also grabbed a set of bar end shifters from a bargain bin, only to find that they were two left hand shifters... Still rocking the triple chainring/one sprocket setup on my wet weather Shogun as a result. Anyone grab two right hand RX-100 shifters and willing to do a swap?... :lol:

It's awesome that people are getting behind this! Getting like minded people together will create better ideas, rejuvenate and educate peoples passion for bikes. As has this site.

I couldn't get the brakes on my bike to work so I got a really loud horn, crisis over!

I'm not going to be able to make it along to the Swap Meet this weekend, CG - I've got a wedding to go to in Geelong. But there is a Fyxomatosis Melburn Swap Meet on the following Saturday (April 13) I will try and get to

I thought it was busier than previous ones, bought amongst other stuff, a Corsair track frame, so I'm happy :D
