Spec. about the Giant OCR C3 08

Postby Bikeman » Sat May 24, 2008 3:38 am

hi all. I just owned a new TCR A2.
The price for the TCR A2 08 and OCR C3 08 are same after discount. I choosed the TCR because it have a better gear and seem faster.
The only things that I know of OCR C3 is full composite framed with Tiagra 27 speed group set, Can anyone give me some more information about this bike, please.

There isnt a OCRC3 for 2008 (in Australia), the full carbon range was dropped with the 2007's and a hybrid carbon/ally OCR Alliance model was added. I have the 2007 OCRC3 with the Tiagra groupset, perhaps that is why it is on a cheap price as it's long past runout time.

Oddly the UK has a 2008 SCR range which looks like it just uses the same frame as the OCRCx's did for 2007.

Back to the original question, (providing its a 2007 OCRC3), it's a pretty good bike for the price I paid from my uneducated opinion.

In the 46.5cm size mine was under 8kgs, from memory, in road trim with bottle holder, pump and underseat bag using a crude "hold it upright on some scales" measuring :)
