for $150, i'd take a punt on it being ok. if it is bent, you might get away with a new fork, and the parts alone are worth the asking..

There's a couple of odd substitutions on that Gazelle. If it didn't go too high, it'd be a good buy for the frame and some reasonable parts.

The paint looks pretty good but the term 'lipstick on a pig' comes to mind... :)

Ricardo lo pro
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RICARDO-LO-P ... 4abcba5ace" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

An Avanti supposedly ridden in the Tour Down Under by Matthew Rex. Initially i thought "don't be stupid, even in 2005 a pro wouldn't ride anything less than full carbon", but did some searching and found a pic that shows him on the same frame with Mavic Cosmic wheels. I don't think that makes it worth what they're asking (and i would pay LESS for something if i knew it had been raced seriously), but interesting.

Chater Lea chainset (3/16 by the sound of the ad), twin plate fork crown, and are those timber rims?

Quick, somebody buy it, so I can stop worrying about how I could get it to Sydney.

I'm the same, spent a fair bit of last night wondering how I could get it to Tassie. It appears to be near Ballarat. Any locals to the area want to do me a deal?

These guys are amazing. Doing a depot pickup your end helps, as well. I got a bike from Bundaberg to Sydney; very easy/inexpensive.If you sweet-talked them, the most difficult thing they'd have to do is get a castaway bike box form their LBS.
Well, no, it's not a pushbike, otherwise I'd be pushing it...
