Questions about purchasing bicycles and parts
17 posts • Page 1 of 1
So I got a new weekend warrior and now I want everything to match.
I'd like to find bottle cages that are a combination of dark blue, white and grey
I think dark blue and grey would be the best bet.
I've seen baby blue and white and blue and white but not dark blue and grey.
any help appreciated
Have you thought of buying some you like and just painting them the right colour?
Our Website is: http://www.kotavelo.com.au Find us on Facebook by searching for "Kotavelo"
Check out Elite's Custom Race colours here http://www.elite-it.com/custom-race/
You can click on the dots on the left hand side to change the colours I think the last one might be the go.
I use these- purchased in matching colour after I brought my new bike earlier this year.
I should recommend you a really heavy, non-aero bottle cage, so you have less chance of KOM-sniping me on ya flash new roadie:D
http://www.elite-it.com/custom-race-chrome/ - the second one?
it's more grey/black
but i didn't like the camouflage suggestion (hope i was looking at the right one)

I had the split white/black gamma on my SST
the splits look like the leader so far
and the elite custom race chromes are very expensive - edit - no so expensive:

Check out the prices on Elite cages here: http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/pp/road-track-bike/elite-elite-bottle-cages/elitbotc.
My last Ribble order took 5 days.
dan - will try the saddle for the moment
marto - ribble don't sell the elite custom race chromo unfortunately
looks like another discussions with the minister for war and finance is coming...
EDIT: wife likes the Rav X
2 ordered. not cheap but they'll look good. thanks
received today. good communication from bikebug.
bottles are a tight fit. hopefully that improves.
I posted one on the bike image thread, but that was before bottle cages
this is from this morning
EDIT: the seat post cage is looser (easier to get the bottle in and out of) than the one on the bottom tube so I'll swap them over tomorrow.
