I just keep churning along, I've noticed getting closer to you but I figured you would disappear into the distance sooner or later. We'll see what happens.

Back into it this morning - 15kms approx. :D hope for the same number on the way home (if I can get away from work on time). Mrs westab is feeling a little better and is able to drive and get kids. She is hoping to ride Saturday after the stitches come out but we will see how we go.

Will need to boost the kms to reach 5000km for the year.

The Endomondo app for the iPhone became nag-ware a few days ago...finally succumbed and bought the Pro version for $6 - couldn't take the nag screen anymore for every ride...and this challenge still has almost 4 months to run this year!

Good week commuting so far and one more ride to go this afternoon - and after a large lunch it is time to burn out the extra indian curry with a ride into a strong wind.

The weather this week has been just great - the legs are feeling good and so I am hoping that the nice weather will bring out some rabbits to chase on the way home for a bit of fun.
I should finish with about 150km this week which is 30km higher than normal. :D

After the curry ... and after you pass those rabbits... they will KNOW what a strong wind actually is.

 So true - and my work mate who rides with me when I am in this mood rides along side or in front (in the hurt box) becuase it beats riding behind where the death smell and falling birds are.

Sorry Muggles but up to seventh - don't know for how long but at least it is mine for the moment.

Was not happy on the way home Friday had heaps of "gas" but there was nothing to chase - why is it you only see others on the path we you are spent and have nothing in the tank.

Still got a good lot of kms in going the long way home and nearly lifted the weekly average to 25 km/h so still happy. :D

Excuses excuses... regardless the end result is not enough riding to hold of DaveS. But let it be said, MTB riding is great fun - just a bit taxing when you are literally pushing your 10year old son up the hills cause he just wants to keep going ... Gotta encourage the kiddies to ride!

Well done mate, I don't think I will be getting it back. I have started driving when I work lates and just going for a ride before work. Was too hard and a bit dodgy riding home at 2-3am in the morning.

Thanks mate - sorry to here that you are not riding to work (I will miss the challenge to stay in front of you). Still in another way I am glad that you are staying safe to ride later. Hope you are back on day shift soon so you can say - "be verrrrwwwy quiet i'm hunting westab :D "

First Endomondo entry since 26th August

Things over the past 6 weeks conspired against me and riding to work, plus almost 3 weeks off work didn't help.

Hopefully back into now and chasing Westab :D

Good to hear Muggles - so no sneak attack. I have had a few light weeks.

Now I feel the target on my back - hopefully I will give you something to chase.

With only a 300km lead - IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG :D :D

but you will probably get me in a few weeks

The chasing has slowed due to a chest infection  I tried to ride through my cold last week and paid the price.

Mate hope you get well soon - chest infections are nasty things. Hope you are back chasing again soon (with everything right).

first commute since Oct 3....and still got pain from/in my left buttock from the accident

life has conspired against me, plus the fact that my work has the flexibility to work from home....

Jasonc...allowed you to see the bunny...but now the bunny is going to hop over the ridgeline out of sight hahaha
