Bike path East Perth train station to Subiacohi, I used to ride the Bike path East Perth train station to Subiaco regularly, but haven't for some time (not living in Perth, but here for a short time). Just wonder if the path is open/detoured or otherwise in any areas perhaps affected by the Perth train station or entertainment centre works? thanks
Re: Bike path East Perth train station to SubiacoThe path goes down Roe Street now, if you cross the train line at the eastern side of Loftus Street it's a pretty clear run and runs along the train line in both directions on either end.

Re: Bike path East Perth train station to Subiacoriding toward west , it used to cross the railway over a bridge in the old ent cent carpark, then close to wellington st around new stadium cons before rejoining path on southern side of rail line to subi. Is this still the case? and still path near perth train station? will ride with young child so better if we don't have to be on road.
Re: Bike path East Perth train station to SubiacoYes it is still the case, the bridge is still there, though it has been modified due to construction. The bicycle lane that use to go along the new stadium has gone so you will have to cross over to the southern side of Wellington street and head west until you pass under the freeway and join the cycle path that goes north, along side the R.A.C. building.
Re: Bike path East Perth train station to SubiacoI find it easier to continue along Roe St and either cross the train tracks at City West station or continue on to Loftus and cross the bridge/join the path there. If you have to mingle with traffic (which it looks like you do on Wellington St now) you may as well cut out the zig-zagging to get to the path behind Harbourtown.

+1 DoT plan to continue the Roe St path thru to Loftus St soon as part of efforts to ease congestion from the myriad capital works going on about the place.
