Double gee problems...too many times walking

I have just bought a 26" mountain bike from Cell bikes and I work near Dongara on a mine site which is surounded by cattle paddocks (and heaps of flies ) Any way after 2 weeks I have managed to have only 2 rides with out punctures from double gee's or hard pointy things.
I have just received a Joes Tubeless System for the bike but I have serious concer of the Maxxis cross mark tyres I am riding on, as they seem to be very soft in the side walls and the thin tread.
Does anyone have experience to survive double gee's and what tyre would you reccomend The roads up here are sandy on the top and have a solid base, I dont ride off road at all but we have a few hills here which are great for flying down

How deep is the sand over solid base? Not too deep and you might get by with an inverted tread semi slick like Conti Town and Country or Serfas Drifter, reckon they'd marry well with a tubeless kit.

The sand depth is just a centremetre or two ie sometimes you leave a shallow track other times you don't. Its not really a much different road to most dirt roads

If that's the case, I reckon you'd get away with them.

+1 for the "Joes", works much better (at road bike pressure) than my "Stans" ever did.
