GDay All
My dr said that i have to loose weight and have to exercise, well this is not the problem....the problem is i have narrowed my choice down to to bikes, the GIANT BOULDER 1 or the TREK 3900 DISC,2013 models.
1.which is lighter?
2.which has the better components?
I am 5'5" and have an inseam of 29" and weigh 95kg. (I dont think that this will have anything to do with entry level bikes)

You supply the specs and you might get a response.

Very little between them, but I'd get the Giant for the following reasons:
- $50 cheaper (& you may get a better price still)
- Better Rear mech
- Shimano brakes
- Lockout of the fork for road rining (Trek may have this, but not stated)
Trek has better cranks & longer travel fork... but at this price point it means very little really.
