There's actually 2 kinds of Tourney, TX and TZ, i think one is 5/6 speed and the other is 7 speed but i'm not sure.
The way shimano derailleurs go is, the plastic rubbish on K Mart bikes (i can't remember what it's called and can't find it on google), the 2 Tourneys, TY15, 18 and 22, Altus, Acera, Alivio, Deore, LX, XT, XTR. Or in road bikes from TY, 2300, Sora, Tiagra, 105, Ultegra, Dura Ace.
