Well, for $7 for rim tape and maybe $30 for regular skewers, they've lost me.

I have rim tape I accidentally ordered. can sell it to you at what i paid if you like + postageSmellyTofu wrote:Haven't had great experience with CE. Ordered $1k wheels turns up with no skewers and no rim tape which apparently were supposed to be in there. Got an email response on the first day after I got it home and 2 days now, no response after 2 follow up emails. I don't ask for much but would have been nice to even offer cheap rim tape.

So I email RIbble they tell me to send them back and they will cover the postage, they will then send me the new ones. I cried a little - flat bars are making me a sad panda as I don't find them comfortable and another six weeks was not acceptable - so I emailed RIbble back and told them that.
Result = They have sent me the left hand shifter via Parcelforce tracked couriers already, and have asked me to send one of the shifters back to them, with a copy of the postage receipt for reimbursement.
Ribble are pretty good on pricing on the lines they carry, and with this osrt of service I will continue to use and recommend them.

I understand you like the puncture resistance. Remember that it does make the bike harder to push. If she is riding further or to time lines the marathon supreme might be worth considering. Pucnture proof but also roll well.orbeas wrote:im sold on the puncher resistance side of things, according to the "reviews"

Ended up getting helmet/bottles/tubes/lube from c r c.jimboss wrote:Not happy with pro bike kit.
Bought helmet, 5 tubes, chain lube and some water bottles early Friday 5/9. Paid more than elsewhere for the helmet as they had the colour I wanted.
Get shipping confirmation 9/9... Helmet not on the list. So I send them an email asking what's going on with the helmet...
Email comes back a few hours later... Helmets not in stock, not back in stock till mid November.
All well and good, but when were they planning on letting me know? And I mean, 3 full working days to ship is slack.
Order went in last Wednesday, shipped out Wednesday night, arrived here in Adelaide today.
c r c use DHL (or at least they did for my order... they may use a panel of freighters given their size) whom ship direct to Adelaide from the UK, rather than via Melb or (god forbid) Sydney. Shaved a day off the shipping time.
Thumbs up.

Had to purchase another tyre (Continental GP4000S). $49.95, good price, especially considering speed of delivery!
Also bought 10 cartridges (AT) $14.95. Cheap!

My cousin ordered a pair of shoes from bicyclestore.com.au on Thursday last week, and was told they haven't even been posted yet.
How the hell does it take a shop 7 days to post out a pair of shoes they have in stock?

Had to call them twice, but they have now sent out the spokes I ordered and another 2 week wait for them to arrive :-/Reman wrote:Order from Bike24 for rims and spokes. Arrived yesterday rims are as ordered, unfortunately received 40 spokes of the wrong size instead of the 64 required for 32H rims.

They said I don't need to return spokes so I'll put them on the market place for cost of postage.
