I am after recommendations for cheap mtb tyres that will handle gravel tracks well (eg Mundaring WA). I'm on a very tight budget.
Bike is a 26" hardtail that only gets riden once or twice a month.
Was thinking. 2.1 rear something like a Schwallbe rapid Rob. And maybe 2.1 or something wider for the front, with nice nobbly grip on the edges for steering. Does this sound reasonable?
Will probably be wire bead coz on a budget.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
