Hey guys,
What is a good looking and decent 29er under $900?
Keen to see what recommendations you can throw out me. I know near to nothing about MTB..
I'll be using it to ride down the coast with my uncle who has a hybrid. Figured a 29er would give me a better workout.
Looking at these two;
29er...

Giant Talon 29er 1 is in your price range; Talon 29er 0 might be doable if you stretched your budget just a little and got a deal on a 2012 floorstock model.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe

I'd go the KTM if it's the one with the Deore groupset. Oh and just a note...a KTM can ONLY have the black/orange colour scheme - any thing else is just wrong.
Ours is not to reason why...merely to point and giggle

You want a better workout 29er? Start here, over 12kg in the wheels and tyres alone. Can fit 29er wheels/slicks to it too if you wanted.
Here's mine, Nexus8 rear hub:
PS: alloy frame so it wont rust before you do.
