Single Speed MTB/Hybrid with Hydraulic Disc

Postby mattwilkinson » Mon Oct 15, 2012 7:50 pm

Hi,

I recently tried my friends single speed mtb he got from fitzroy revolutions. I went on a holiday there so i cant ask him what bike he had.

I really liked it as its faster than a mountain bike yet more fun than a road bike.

My main question is, does anyone make these bikes and,

Could I buy 2 wheelsets, 1 for trails and 1 for commuting?

Your mate doesn't have a phone or an email you could ask him via?

Google shows me FR is a store , maybe email them or call.

Plenty of options for SS MTBs. Most of them use rear dropout variations so you have a choice.
Voodoo and DMR are the first two to spring to mind but I'm sure there's more.
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Love the SS MTB. I converted my Giant ATX in 2004 with a DMR kit

Then sold it and bought a 29er SS

Thinking when my drivetrain wears out on my 29er I will go SS again.
