Perth bike swap meet October 6th
Postby Quicksilver » Sun Sep 16, 2012 11:03 am
Got this from another forum
The next Southside bmx club Swapmeet is on Saturday 6th October.
$10 per bay with the proceeds going to the club to help maintain the track.
Sellers from 11am, buyers from 12pm.
The club wants to try the later times so lets see how it goes.
The first one was well supported, hopefully this one will be even better.

I will be there. If anyone wants an 80s roadie or 3spd commuter, drop past.

Quicksilver buddy, you gotta tell us where it is. Is it at George's Bike Shop again?
I think my wife may have me in the garden tomorrow.
But I am an optimist and maybe I can loosen the chain for a while.
To anyone passing by, have a look. I got to the last one fairly late and at that time it was not a super big thing. But even then I'm glad that I had a look around the mix of odds and ends. Indeed if I was not restricted on what I could pack in the backpack I would have bought a new 20" plastic wheel for a busted unicycle I have. You never know what may be there for you.
And there were a few retros and stuff there just to show that not all bikes have to look like the rest. And it's always good to have a yarn with a stranger on a bike.

You'll need to fix the link Quicksilver. You probably just clicked the wrong tool.

Perth bike swap meet - September 21, 2013
Postby Sprocket » Fri Sep 13, 2013 12:23 am
Looks like the BMX swap meet is on again for 2013. Did anyone go along to it last year? Colin gave a good report of the later stages of one. Anyone get to it earlier in the day? Sounds like it is worth a visit.
