It is 8.4kg as you see it there, which according to my dodgy luggage scales is not significantly different to when it had cable discs, not sure what a standard set of callipers weighs.

il padrone wrote:Water? That's only 3 L in the bottles. On days like this one (39 degrees later) we went through all of that water and twice over !! You would as well. In the red panniers I had two 10L water bags with ~ 12L in them. This was enough for our overnight camping needs.

The total luggage load was a heavy haul. At the maximum load of 65 kgs, for about 7-8 days between resupply and up to 3 days between water points, I could not actually lift my rear wheel off the ground (without doing a serious back injury). 25kgs of all my camping gear, 23L of water = 23 kgs, and then food for up to 8 days = ~15 kgs.
that sir.. i got no smart ass words to describe but hardcore, imagine the watts your legs would be outputting :S

It's actually very easy cleaning a white bike.... damp cloth and wipe down. Done in three minutes. I probably spend more time cleaning the wheels (sidewalls, rims, hubs and spokes).

Mine has had a slight change, now with a noir saddle. Not as flash as some of the rides in here.
