Cycling Jerseys For Tiny Tots And I am Not

Postby dynamictiger » Mon Oct 22, 2012 10:01 am

Hi ALl

I have been forced to wear XXXL riding jerseys to accommodate my shoulder width anything smaller feels like I am in a straight jacket or something. However I have found as I have been increasing my swimming this year that the arm bands are too small for my biceps. I asked the Mrs to cut the seam and overlock it but she won't touch the material as she thinks it will pull apart.

Anyone had a similar issue, what was your solution?

I have the same issue of arm circumference with quite a few jersey brands.

I have found this to be the best so far - Champ Sys - Club Cut... (not 'Race Cut').

e.g. http://www.champ-sys.com.au/clothing/co ... /basew-ssj" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hmmm this is a problem I have never considered. I have big upper arms and have just lived with the jersey pulling up to the top of the bicep. Even when pulled down they're not far from that position anyway. As far as tight goes, I've never had a problem. I have a mix of Mupi jerseys and have a Sprint Designs jersey as well. None of them are tight and I'm about 16inches around the "gun"

I ride, therefore I am. But don't ride into harm's way.
