Racing Wed and yesterday then asking my legs to ride 106kms wasn't nice. Hardest 106kms Ive ever ridden, 1,643 meters evelvation, 4hrs 8mins. 106kms of undulations and two Cat3 climbs and 1 Cat4 climb.
Ended up with 130kms for the day.

111km yesterday then rode over today.
Not sure of the time but i held on with BarryTas and the others till 10km to go. Then as we were going up hill, I was struggling to hold on, my dumb ass SRAM red derailler was giving me grief and then Baz and 'lets call him the bearded climber' started accelerating up the hill.
The band snapped and I couldn't get back on. Not sure how far behind them I was but I completed the loop with an Average of 30km/h.
Also completed 155km for today so a 266km weekend and a total of 400km for the week. It would have been more as I was suppose to ride home after the ride today, but when the others left head back I hung around for my mate to finish so he had someone to ride home with. Turns out he stopped at peppermint bay for a coffee and organised his wife to pick him up. So I got a lift back with them.

very happy to finish with Ivan the little beaded climed and the tax man
the riding was not that hard, the lack of sleep is
pitty about the weather as i could not see the channel views that well, and it made us slow down
i did enjoy the hills that you just rolled up due to the dips

I really enjoyed the ride.
I don't know if they're on the forum, but Dwayne and Pete were very accommodating, considering I've not ridden in a group before.
I did tend to take off up the hills - I put this down to riding a 15kg MTB for 8 months around Kingston.
If there are any more 100km rides going, I'd love to be involved. But I reckon that's about my limit for now.
I finished in 3:45, which was only a few minutes longer than my Norfy Ride a couple of weeks ago.
